01Who we are

This site is run by Retirement Plan Games, an independent game studio (“we”) and the trade name of Retirement Plan Games Desenvolvimento de Software Não Customizável Ltda., a Brazilian limited company (CNPJ 69.897.725/0001-20) registered at R. Pais Leme, 215, conj. 1713, Pinheiros, São Paulo, SP, 05424-150, Brazil.

The company is the data controller: it decides how the data described here is handled. For anything about your data, there is one channel:

Up to version 1.1 of this policy, the site was run by the studio's founder as an individual. Data collected until then, such as the Save Point list, has passed to the company, which follows this same policy.

02Data we collect

• Browsing (Google Analytics), only with your consent: pages viewed, time on page, where you came from, device and browser type, language and approximate city, linked to a random identifier stored in a cookie. Google Analytics 4 does not store your IP address.
• Contact: if you write to us, your email address and whatever you include in the message.
• Save Point newsletter, only if you subscribe: your email address, the language you chose, the country you subscribed from (based on your connection, without storing your IP address) and the dates of consent and confirmation, with the version of this policy in force that day.

We don't ask for your full name, ID numbers, address, phone or payment details, and we don't process sensitive data. Links to YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and other sites lead to services with their own policies.

03Purposes and legal bases

04Save Point newsletter

To subscribe, you enter your email address, pick a language and tick the consent box. We then send an email with a confirmation link, valid for 48 hours: you're only added to the list after you click it. If you don't confirm, we send a single reminder before the link expires, and nothing else. Without confirmation, the record is deleted within 3 days.

Every Save Point email has a one-click link to leave the list, and your email app may also show an unsubscribe button. When you leave, your email address is deleted from the list right away. You can also ask us to remove you by writing to us. If one of our emails bounces because the address doesn't exist, or if you mark it as spam, the address is removed from the list too.

We count, per issue and per country, how many emails were delivered and opened, without recording who opened them. Links to our site carry the name of the issue: if you accepted analytics cookies, Google Analytics counts the visit as coming from Save Point, without knowing who you are. The list is never sold, rented or used for anything else.

05Cookies

On your first visit, we ask whether you accept analytics cookies. Without your OK, Google Analytics doesn't even load.

06Who we share with

Only with the providers that keep the site and email running, which process data on our behalf and under our instructions:

• Cloud provider: site hosting, storing the Save Point list and sending emails (replies and the newsletter).
• Email services: receiving the messages sent to us.
• Google: Google Analytics, the visit statistics, only with your consent.

Outside your country: these services store data on servers in the United States and elsewhere. Transfers rely on the standard contractual clauses and safeguards each provider offers.

We may also disclose data if legally required by an authority. We never sell or rent data. To know which providers these are, write to us (see “Your rights”).

07How long we keep it

• Browsing: up to 14 months in Google Analytics, then deleted automatically.
• Contact: up to 2 years after the last message, or sooner if you ask.
• Newsletter: for as long as you're subscribed. Without confirmation, up to 3 days. If one of our emails bounces because the address doesn't exist, or is marked as spam, the record is deleted, and the address stays only on our email provider's block list, so it isn't emailed again.

08Your rights

Under the LGPD (Brazil) and the GDPR (EU/UK), you can ask, at any time and free of charge:

• to confirm whether we process your data and to access it;
• to correct incomplete or inaccurate data;
• to delete, anonymize or restrict data;
• to receive your data in a portable format;
• to know who we share your data with;
• to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting what was done before;
• to object to processing based on legitimate interest.

Email privacy@retirementplangames.com from the address linked to the data, so we know it's you. We reply within 15 days. If you're not satisfied, you can complain to Brazil's ANPD or to the data protection authority where you live.

09Children

This site doesn't ask anyone for data in order to use it, and Save Point is for people aged 16 or over. If you're the parent or guardian of a child or teenager who wrote to us or subscribed, let us know and we'll delete the data.

10Security

The site is served over HTTPS only, the provider accounts above use two-factor authentication, and data access is limited to the people running the studio. If an incident could put you at risk, we'll notify you and the relevant authority.

11Changes to this policy

The date at the top shows the current version. Important changes, such as a new data controller, a new purpose or a new service, are announced here before they take effect. Where your consent is required, you can withdraw it if you disagree.
